Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP)

Neuro Linguistic Programming (otherwise known as NLP) was created in 1975 by Richard Bandler and John Grinder.

NLP explores the relationship between how individuals think (Neuro). It reaches deep into the roots of a core component of how that individual functions both verbally and non-verbally (Linguistic) and their patterns of behaviour and emotion (Programmes). NLP is a behaviour technique.

Here at Magnolia House, we work with our clients to recognise patterns created in their behaviour which is often based on self-taught rules, experiences and restrictions in their values and beliefs. We use NLP techniques to help our clients recognise these limitations and acknowledge these patterns. We then work closely with our clients to adapt a new behavioural technique to achieve a mental and physical sense of well-being.

At Magnolia House we help our clients to look inside themselves at what is going on and reflect on unhelpful patterns. Using NLP tools and techniques, we help our clients to reflect on these patterns, and make the necessary changes for a happier and more positive life.

NLP is used both personally and in the professional world to benefit and optimise results. NLP techniques have helped to benefit individuals and businesses in the following areas:

  • Confidence
  • Increased Motivation
  • Assertiveness
  • Public Speaking
  • Overcoming Abuse
  • Communication within the Workplace
  • Interpersonal Skills
  • Personal Development

Practitioners believe that changing how you think can change how you live your life.
